On January 8, Wanhua Chemical Group Co., Ltd. and Dehe Technology Group Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement at Dehe Jiaxing composite polyurethane production base. The two parties will work together to promote the development of cutting-edge domestic technologies in China’s cryogenic liquid cargo containment system industry, achieve localization of the industrial chain and independence in intellectual property rights, and help China’s shipbuilding industry take a leading position internationally. 　　Under the cooperation agreement, Wanhua and Dehe will work together to enhance their capabilities in developing polyurethane formulations, in order to meet the market’s demand for high-performance PUF and rigid polyurethane foam (RPUF) products. They will also strive to improve the performance of these materials, and promote the use of high-performance polyurethane materials in insulation systems for cryogenic liquid carriers such as very large ethane carriers (VLEC), ultra-large ethane carriers (ULEC), LNGC vessels, and gas sleeve technology (GST). This partnership marks a commitment by both parties to work closely together in the field of cryogenic liquid cargo containment systems, to overcome technical challenges together, and to enhance China’s technical capabilities and international competitiveness in this area. 　　Through continuous technological innovation and industrial expansion, Wanhua Chemical has established itself as a global leader in the polyurethane industry. It has also invested in projects such as VLEC, ULEC, and land-based film tank systems to enhance its competitiveness and influence in the global chemical market. 　　It is understood that Dehe Technology Group Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in the research, development, design, production, and installation of insulation materials for low-temperature equipment, storage tanks, and pipelines in the petrochemical industry. The company possesses innovative capabilities in the research, development, and production of insulation materials for GTT membrane-type LNG carriers, as well as production lines that meet high quality standards; it also has the ability to develop its own formulations.
