This marks a significant breakthrough in the large-scale production of key materials for sodium-ion batteries, providing strong impetus for the rapid development of China’s sodium-ion battery industry. It is reported that the total investment in this project is 2 billion yuan, with a total land area of approximately 77.1 mu. The overall planning is to be carried out in two phases. Upon completion, it will have an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons of sodium ferric sulfate cathode material and 5 GWh of sodium-ion battery PACK systems. One of the phases of this project will enable an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons of sodium ferric sulfate cathode material as well as 2 GWh worth of sodium-ion battery packs. All equipment has been installed and calibrated, and production on a small scale has already begun; large-scale mass production is set to start soon. According to Zhongna Energy, the company’s revenue is set to grow by nearly 300% in 2025. It ranks first in the industry in terms of shipments of sodium ferric sulfate cathode materials and battery packs. The company has completed its Series A2 financing round, with a total funding amount of nearly 300 million yuan; this makes it the leader in the sodium-ion battery sector globally in terms of financing volume. In terms of technology, Zhongna Energy’s sodium ferric sulfate cathode material has been upgraded to version 3.0, resulting in a performance improvement of over 20%. More than 40 new core patents were obtained throughout the year, thereby continuing to build a technological advantage for the future. In terms of production capacity, the 3,000-ton per year cathode material production line at Zhongna Energy’s Zhenjiang Lina facility has achieved stable mass production and delivery ； Yancheng Baigu’s 14,000㎡ pilot production facility for sodium-ion and solid-state batteries has been built and put into operation ； The first phase of the Meishan Lina Western Headquarters Base, covering 18,000㎡, was signed, constructed, and completed in the same year ； The first phase of Taizhou NaNa’s 20,000㎡ production facility, capable of producing 3GWh worth of lightweight power and energy storage systems, has been completed and put into operation, and it has passed the GB43854 product certification ； The pilot production line for the 1,000㎡ energy storage system in Hangzhou Paina has been built and put into operation.
