The POE molecular chain consists of polyethylene crystalline segments (hard segments) and amorphous rubber segments (soft segments) formed by the copolymerization of α-olefins; this unique microphase separation structure endows it with both the processability of plastics and the high elasticity of rubber. The main process steps include monomer purification, catalyst preparation, solution polymerization, catalyst removal, solvent recovery, and polymer devolatilization and granulation.
