Recently, the 20,000 tons per year PVDF project for chemical new materials at Gansu Jinchuan Group successfully completed its first feeding trial run, producing qualified products, which marks the full completion of the project and its official commissioning for production. Located in Jinchuan District, Jinchang City, Gansu Province, this project is a key initiative aimed at promoting the industrial transformation and upgrading of the region. Utilizing industry-leading production processes, the deeply processed synthetic products made from PVDF resin are widely used in fields such as lithium battery grade, photovoltaic grade, and coating grade. After the project came online, it further improved the regional fluorine chemical industry chain. It is of great significance for filling the gap in production capacity for high-end new energy materials, helping to reduce reliance on imported high-end PVDF products in China, and enhancing the country’s ability to secure self-sufficiency in key materials for new energy applications.
