Recently, the company wants to enter the field of skid design, such as various skids used in natural gas projects. So what qualifications are required for skid design? I couldn’t find it myself.
This post was last edited by Zhizhi Ming on 2017-6-11 07:45. If it is a LNG valve skid as shown in the attached diagram, a qualification for the design and manufacture of pressure pipelines is required.
For an LNG skid unit that includes pressure vessel equipment as shown in the drawings, it is necessary to have design qualifications for pressure vessels or at least Class B qualifications in chemical engineering.
Thank you, I think these qualifications are also necessary. Currently, there seem to be no clear or mandatory specifications in official documents or standards.
The various functional departments operate separately, and no department has yet realized that pipelines and equipment can be combined to create a new form of product delivery.
Does the manufacturing qualification mentioned here refer to the qualification for manufacturing pressure pipeline components? However, the pressure pipeline component assembly system currently issues manufacturing permits only for “wellhead equipment, production trees, throttle and kill manifolds, gas pressure regulating devices, and temperature and pressure reducing devices”. Does that mean that as long as there are no pressure vessels, the combination of pipes and valves does not require a manufacturing license?
Doesn’t this already show that: “It is necessary to obtain qualifications for the design and manufacture of pressure pipelines”?
Manufacturing companies produce products of their own design, and according to the latest guidelines from the authorities, no design qualifications are required. But manufacturing qualifications still require Hu
Hello, may I ask for the name of your company?
