After the forced circulation system was installed and operated for some time, the pipes beneath the tower, as well as those near the expansion joints and supports, shifted westward by approximately 300 mm. The expansion joints became severely deformed and torn. How can these devices be improved to prevent such problems from occurring? The supports made of H-shaped steel are severely deformed; the foundation on the ground is concrete-based, but it too has been damaged with cracks appearing. The materials are impacting from below! The distillation tower is already equipped with spring supports, and it also has fixing lugs. Additionally, the pipes beneath the equipment are quite long, about 12 meters in length, with a diameter of 1000 mm. I was wondering if it would be possible to move the expansion joints located beneath the equipment upward
Change the form of the support so that it can withstand forces in that direction and absorb deformation.
1# lm1986: Replace the support with a sliding spring support, and replace the expansion joint in front of the circulation pump with a metal hose
