Is this a normal phenomenon? If so, does it mean that the zero point needs to be adjusted during installation? What is the principle behind this, and why is this an issue?
It’s normal – these days many people buy an EJA unit and ask us to add flange components. There is silicone oil inside the gauge flange, and the gauge head contains sensors; if the installation direction changes, the force acting on the sensors also changes
I agree with the second floor – this is normal; pressure gauges of the same model installed in different locations within the tower bottom will definitely have different zero points
It’s definitely different, as the transmitter is calibrated horizontally to ensure that positive and negative pressures are not affected by other pressures. If the diaphragm box is installed vertically, the pressures acting on its upper and lower sides differ; therefore, the readings vary between horizontal and vertical installation.
Does that mean it’s the pressure changes of the silicone oil that have an impact? For EJA units without flanges, is it not necessary to consider the effect of the installation location on the zero point during installation? Thanks!
There is also the issue of valve assemblies – under what types of operating conditions is it necessary to use them, and how is the choice of valve assembly determined? Thanks!

It’s normal. You can place it sideways during verification, or adjust the zero after installation. From the perspective of the transmitter’s structure, even if it is not a double-flange transmitter, there is still essentially one more layer of \"double flanges\" inside.
