There are various international certifications, such as the EU’s ATEX certification, North America’s CSA certification, the international ICE EX certification, and also the FM certification. . . In China, there are also various certifications such as NEPSI, CNEX, CQST, and many others. . Which authority is it exactly? What about domestically? Which authority again?
These institutions are the same because they adhere to the same or similar standards and principles regarding explosion-proof classification and explosion-proof design. The differences between them lie in their region, popularity, scope of application, and level of recognition.
As for China, the difference lies in the fact that you need to use the certification appropriate for the place you are going; otherwise, they are more or less similar.
Different places use different certification bodies, and different designs have different requirements. There is no higher claim to be made.
It seems that those from abroad are more authoritative. There are sometimes ways to obtain certification in China. But if you use your product there, you have to obtain evidence there. For use in the domestic market, you cannot use a foreign explosion-proof certification; similarly, it’s not acceptable to use a Chinese safety certification for use abroad.
The certifications from these authoritative bodies are mutually recognized. It is only some companies or individuals who artificially divide certifiers, and this is done for certain purposes or interests; it has nothing to do with the authority of the certification. Because these certification bodies follow the same standards and implement the same certification procedures.
Please consult three domestic explosion-proof certification agencies; there is no mutual recognition among them.
Are the explosion protection certifications obtained domestically recognized by ATEX and FM, as well as CSA? In that case, is it sufficient to only obtain domestic certification for product exports? As far as I know, foreign products sold in the domestic market must obtain domestic certification.
Now, most of them have been converted to the explosion-proof CCC standard. In China, there are 6 agencies that issue explosion-proof CCC certificates, along with 13 designated laboratories; conducting tests at either of these institutions results in the same certificate.
