Hello, for integrated temperature transmitters, whether they use thermocouples or thermal resistors, a protective sleeve is needed to safeguard the temperature sensing element; its main function is to protect that element. In general chemical production, the structure is of the core-pulling type; the outer protective sleeve and the protective tube built into the temperature sensing element are separate. As for when protective tubes are needed: there are many factors to consider, such as the nature of the material in contact, the level of pressure, temperature, degree of friction, and the method of installation, and so on.
