Differential pressure transmitters are usually installed at a location lower than the measurement point. However, when the flow measurement point is very low and it is not possible to install the transmitter any lower, the transmitter may have to be installed at a higher position. If a collection tank was not included in the design, can the built-in vent valve of the transmitter be used for this purpose? Is it easy to maintain in the long term? Will this type of exhaust valve lose its sealing property after being used multiple times?

It is fine to install the transmitter above the pressure sampling point; refer to the installation manual. All required accessories are available, and there is no need to use the transmitter’s exhaust valve.
