For the PLC4-20mA analog circuit, I want to add a recorder; is it possible to connect it directly in series with the circuit? Can all sensors accept a recorder connected in series? I heard that resistance is a factor to consider – some sensors can be used this way while others cannot Please give your advice

I don’t think it will work, because recorders generally connect to passive signals; they need to be connected in series within a circuit that provides 24VDC as power for two-wire transmitters. If you try to add a four-wire signal, there is only current and no voltage in the four-wire circuit, and if you connect this to the supply voltage in the two-wire circuit, it definitely won’t work!
