What is the purpose of the terminal connector on a pressure transmitter? When is it used? What size is generally chosen?
Most of them should be M20*1.5

The common types of connections used for instrument pipelines include the following: 1. Straight-through terminal fittings. As the name suggests, these are the fittings at the end of the pipeline where it connects to a device; one end matches the specifications of the pipeline being connected (through welding, crimping, or threading), while the other end matches those of the device being connected (usually via threading). 2. A direct intermediate joint is a connector used to link two pipelines together, with specifications that match those of the pipelines at both ends (connected by welding, clamping, or threading). 3. A tee joint, as the name implies, is a fitting used to connect three pipelines together; it matches the specifications of each of the three pipelines (through welding, crimping, or threading), and there are types with equal diameters as well as those with different diameters. 4. Reducer fittings are generally used to connect two pipelines with different outer diameters; they are matched to the specifications of the pipelines at both ends (through welding, sleeve fitting, or threading), and there are types with equal diameters as well as those with differing diameters. 5. Elbow connectors are used for making 90-degree bends in two pipelines. Note that smaller pipes are usually bent using a pipe bender, while those under high temperature and pressure require elbow joints for welding; they cannot be bent directly.
