In overseas construction projects, I encountered such a specification, as shown in the screenshot below: The design team believes that only instruments exposed to sunlight require sun shields, but I think the screenshot implies two things: The first is that, as indicated by the yellow area, all density, level, flow, weighing, and remote-transmitted pressure transmitters, as well as temperature transmitters, need to be equipped with sun shields； The second meaning, the blue section: in addition to the density, level, flow rate, weighing, as well as remote-transmission pressure and temperature transmitters mentioned above, shading covers should also be installed on instruments whose maximum operating temperature is below 60 degrees and that are exposed directly to sunlight. Is my understanding correct?
Literally speaking, your understanding is correct.
That doesn’t mean all instruments need to have rain covers
