May I ask, should the measurement range of a magnetic flap level gauge be the same as the distance between the two flanges? Thank you!
Yes. However, the 【zero position】 issue must be taken into account; in some storage tanks, magnetic flap level gauges used to measure the low level cannot be installed at the zero position.
Not quite right. Under normal circumstances, it should be roughly at the same level as the upper and lower flanges. In some devices, if the pressure measurement points are not properly positioned, the highest liquid level can exceed the upper flange, and this is also a common occurrence

If the liquid level is above the upper flange, it indicates improper operation. Since it’s a level gauge, it should of course reflect the actual liquid level; otherwise, overflow could also occur
