The company has a chlorine treatment process: the chlorine gas from the cylinders passes through coiled tubes to enter a hot water tank for heating, then goes to a buffer tank before reaching the reaction vessel. When the temperature in the reactor exceeds the set limit, the interlock system activates the shut-off valve for the chlorine gas supply, thereby stopping the flow of gas. I would like to ask everyone the following: 1. How should this valve be selected, what are the specific requirements? 2. Where should it be installed? 3. Are there any other requirements?
The first choice is the FC valve, which serves as the on/off valve for the material inlet. The specific material to be used depends on factors such as the medium, temperature, and pressure, as well as the valve’s response time and other related elements, including the accompanying solenoid valves.
What I really want to ask is about the installation location – whether it should be in front of or behind the heating coil. For drying chlorine gas, a regular PTFE lining should work fine; one with a handle is also an option
