Working principle of the seismic electric contact pressure gauge: The pointer of the pressure gauge and the set-point pins are equipped with contacts respectively. When in use, first the upper and lower limit values are set; the contacts on the pointer come into contact with those on the upper and lower limit pins, and through the electrical circuit an alarm signal is sent out by the indicator light. The change in the pressure being measured can also be controlled through an electrical circuit equipped with relays and contactors, so as to keep it within the set upper and lower limits. Electrocontact pressure gauges are divided into direct-acting and magnetically assisted direct-acting types. The setting range of the electric contact pressure gauge is between 5% and 95% of the upper measurement limit.
How is it done to set the upper and lower limits for an oil-filled shock-resistant electrical contact pressure gauge? Won’t there be oil leakage at the setting knob? Is it operated using a magnetic connection method?
