Our factory is building a new diesel hydrogenation unit with a maximum pressure of 12 MPa. I would like to know what inspections are required for the instrumentation materials such as pipes, valves, bolts, etc., both upon arrival at the factory and during installation. Most of the instrumentation pipelines have a diameter of φ14. If following SH3501, it seems that when the pressure is greater than 10 MPa, surface non-destructive testing is required; hardness and spectral analysis should be conducted on molybdenum steel bolts, while spectral testing is necessary for molybdenum-containing stainless steels. Which standard should be applied in this case?
The pipe with number 14 is the air supply pipe, right? It can’t reach 12 map
