The conductivity increased suddenly

Dear teachers, I have a question I’d like to ask. A few days ago, my conductivity meter showed a value of 25 us/cm for pure water. Thinking the electrodes were faulty, I bought new ones, but the result remained the same. I’m wondering what could be causing this issue. Normally, the conductivity reading on the devices used to test grade 1 and grade 2 pure water systems is around 2-4, while the conductivity reading on the display of the main pure water system is around 2. I appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you
A couple of days ago, everything was quite normal; moreover, the conductivity shown by the pure water machine was within normal limits, with residual chlorine at 0.1
The residual chlorine level is normal; what other methods can be used to determine that impurities have mixed in?
Is there any conductive substance stored in your conductivity meter, and has it been cleaned?
