Do the relay contacts also require a separate power supply?
Since photos are being taken, why not simply capture the model number as well? The specifications for the terminal block can be found according to the model
The label indicates that it is passive, meaning it requires a separate power supply; generally, unless there are special requirements, the output relay is powered by 24VDC
It mainly depends on the function of your contacts, as well as whether you need active or passive nodes
In this case, the output is usually sent to the electrical system; the power for the contacts is supplied by that electrical system, typically at 220V AC, and it is connected to the electrical circuit.
You can check the module manual; if you still don’t understand, ask the engineer in the control room.
It depends on what purpose it is intended for. If it is used solely for dry contacts, such as in electrical systems where contactors are used to control the start and stop of pumps and there is an external power supply, then no power distribution is needed. But if there is no external power supply, for example when controlling solenoid valves or similar devices, then power distribution is required
Generally, it is best to have separate power distribution along with fuses for protection. When controlling high-voltage circuits, if the wires are connected incorrectly, electricity can enter the system through the common power supply
