The specific wiring method for the tester is as follows: after confirming that the wiring is correct, gently move the current connection terminals; there should be no contact discharge occurring at these terminals; At the same time, the tester should display the current values of each phase to determine that the wiring is correct. If discharge occurs during the process of releasing the connecting piece, it indicates that the current circuit between the tester and the meter being tested is not connected; the connecting piece should be quickly returned to its original position, and the wiring should be checked again. After the measurement is complete, the current connection terminals should first be returned to their original positions; only after confirming this is correct should the wiring of the tester be disconnected. When using a clamp-type current transformer, the current clamps should be attached to the center of the clamp one by one, in the correct current direction and phase sequence. To connect the voltage terminals, simply follow the correct phase sequence and connect the voltage terminal of the meter under test in parallel with the voltage terminal of the calibrator. Proper wiring is a prerequisite for ensuring the safety and accuracy of the calibrator. For electricity meters equipped with dedicated junction boxes, terminals are typically provided for connecting external testing equipment in series. By disconnecting or connecting the current connectors, it is possible to connect the current circuit of the calibrator in series with the meter under test, or to restore the original current path.
