How to configure the inverter to output the current signal to the DCS? Should the range setting be set to the motor’s rated current or to the instantaneous current?
4-20MA, with the range set to the rated current.
Work according to the rated current, and make it a bit larger.
This is easy to understand; you can think of the frequency converter as a transmitter, as long as the range set in the DCS matches that set on the frequency converter
I agree with the view above – the range is what it is, corresponding to the rated current in the frequency converter
It’s been resolved, thank you all for your help. What I did was use a motor with a rated current of 160A; the frequency converter was able to increase the output by a factor of 1.75, so I set the value to 0–280A
You say that if you treat the inverter as a transmitter, then it makes sense
