The insertion depth is the length from the flange or thread to the top of the measurement end, as shown in the figure above
Insertion depth (mm) INSERT LENG. L=200. But I just saw a design where the pipeline is DN150 – why is the insertion depth then L=200?
During installation, there is a straight connector or flanged pipe of a certain height.
Is there another connector as well?
Go and check the installation diagram. The installation diagram shows an extension piece, which can be installed at an inclined angle, at a bend, or with an expanded pipe.
There is also a bulge at the end of the pipe, which is where you connect the flange or threads
There should be a fitting (boss) on the pipe to connect to a flange or threads.
The typical insertion depth is 8 to 10 times the diameter of the protective tube, and the end of the protective tube should extend 5 to 10 mm beyond the center line of the pipe~~
