As shown in the picture, the valve with a current setting of 4-20 milliamps does not function; air leaks from the gap at the bottom as soon as power is applied, but no leakage occurs when the power is turned off. Confirm whether it is exhaust from the locator or a real leak. .
The locator consumes air when it is working properly; if it is not working correctly, check for other causes.

If it is confirmed that current is being applied, the signal wires can be untied, and a multimeter can be used to measure the resistance between the signal terminals of the locator (to check for short circuits or an infinite value), after which the amplifier can be replaced and tried again; If there are no amplifier spare parts, disassemble the amplifier, but remember the order so it can be reassembled easily; it’s better not to disassemble it if you lack experience.
Just use the 300-mm wrench you have to hit it a few times. Don’t be afraid, and don’t hesitate to use force. Japanese things are just worth getting beaten for. Consider it as avenging the Chinese. Hehe. . . .
There are many reasons why it doesn’t operate when powered on. It seems that your unit is a 301 type locator; check whether there are any wiring errors, and see if it is in the manual position. These locators constantly release air, so it can be difficult to determine whether there is a leak without careful inspection. .
