Could some expert please explain the difference between a control circuit diagram and a logic interlock diagram? A control circuit diagram includes terminal connections and component numbers; so what is the difference between it and a wiring diagram? And what is the difference between a diagram for complex circuit control and a control circuit diagram? These things are extremely chaotic; are there any specific standards? I need guidance! Thank you!
The control circuit diagram is used in control systems (DCS); it serves primarily to illustrate the relationships between various controls and acts as a blueprint. Since it is a circuit diagram, it includes a lot of information, whereas a wiring diagram is used solely for wiring purposes and is a plain diagram. Control loops are divided into conventional loop control (single-loop PID) and complex loop control (such as cascade, split-range, three-shot, etc.). The interlock logic diagram is used for SIS and serves to illustrate the interlock relationships.

Wiring diagrams are used for wiring, while circuit diagrams are primarily used for system maintenance and fault diagnosis.
