How to replace the host computer for a PLC

I’m seeking advice from experts on how to export the old programs and compile them for use on the new screen. Our display screen is a Taiwan Hi-Tech touch screen HMI model PWS5610T-S, 5.7 inches in size. The PLC used is an INOVANCE Inovance PLC programmable logic controller, model H2U-1616MR-XP

In that case, well then, it’s possible to select another suitable host computer from among the PLC controller manufacturers, right? Once it’s chosen, how does one proceed with loading it or programming it for use?
I’m not very familiar with PLCs. It seems that a USB connection to a computer is needed in order to use specialized software to download programs to the new screen, and then the new screen needs to be installed. The specific procedures will have to be researched on one’s own; I only have a basic understanding of this, as I’ve never worked with PLCs before
It’s generally not possible to extract the images from the touchscreen. If you have a backup of your own, you can purchase a screen of the same model and download the images onto it; but if you don’t have such a backup, it will be quite troublesome!
That’s the right answer – it’s the kind of problem that causes trouble. I used to have others handle it in the past; when I took over, there was no information available at all~! If compilation is needed, how do I program it? (I can’t program:()) If I use a touch screen from another brand, will programming still be required?
It’s okay to choose one that suits the brand as well. The key question is how to compile the program; will the vendor provide this service?
As long as you pay, there will be people willing to do it. If the seller doesn’t offer this service themselves, they can probably introduce someone who can help you, but you still need to provide the guidance regarding the manufacturing process.
Is there the source code for the PLC? If one is available, it’s simply enough to create a new touchscreen interface; if not, it’s not very easy to do so. If the manufacturing process is known or if there are existing operation screens for the touchscreen, it’s still possible to create one, but it’s a bit more complicated!
If there is a host computer of the same model, the program can be modified by following the example of that host computer; host software with a touch screen is required.
If it’s not easy to do, and if you are familiar with PLC programming, it’s possible to use touchscreens from other manufacturers to program and implement control functions; there are many manufacturers to choose from
