I would like to ask the experts: what causes the absorbance value to be negative in the spectrum of a sulfur ratio analyzer?
The absorption background of the sample is lower than the reference background absorbance value when using the originally calibrated instrument. It is sufficient to use actual sample gas to remove hydrogen sulfide and sulfur dioxide, and then use it as a background reference for calibrating the instrument; do not use nitrogen or other pure gases as the reference zero gas.
