I heard recently that the calibration interval for pressure gauges has been changed to 3 months; I’m not sure if that’s true. I checked JJG54-2013 – it hasn’t been updated; it’s still 6 months. If anyone knows, please help clarify which regulations apply. Thank you.

And no one stares at its large face constantly out of deep affection. What’s the point of calibrating a pressure gauge so frequently? What’s the benefit? Brother Pig, I thought and thought and thought, so much that even the hair around my pig nostrils fell out, but I still haven’t figured it out. . . :lol

Furthermore, according to Haiyou, many pressure gauges these days only have a service life of a few months to half a year. I don’t know if it’s true either; I’m not sure whether there are really that many of these short-lived pressure gauges.
The quality of pressure gauges varies; indeed, some of them have a short lifespan. It’s sufficient to replace those that are faulty promptly. However, it’s unlikely that many pressure gauges will pass calibration after being in use for more than two years, which depends on the mechanical toughness of the Bourdon tube used in those gauges

A pressure gauge is considered qualified if it does not get damaged after 100,000 vibrations. It has a long service life when installed at the liquid level, but a shorter lifespan when installed behind a pump
I guess no one has ever tested whether there are 100,000 times or not?
