How many IO cards can an Emerson DELTAV controller support?

May I ask how many IO cards a single Emerson DELTAV controller can support?
Our company currently has a controller that already has 64 card slots, but its utilization rate is very low. We want to add an expansion cabinet to accommodate more cards, but the manufacturer says that another controller is required. In other words, one Emerson controller can support up to 64 card modules. But I checked other companies’ systems, and Yokogawa’s DCS supports more than 64 cards.
