It is a pneumatic shut-off valve; when the DCS is turned off, the valve is fully open on site. When DCS is turned on, everything at the site is shut down. I need to know how to ensure that when DCS is at 0, everything on site shuts down. 100 corresponds to fully open
It is possible to change the forward and reverse action of the locator
Just set a counteraction directly in the DCS! Simple and practical!
First, determine what type of valves are needed on-site; they are usually used to adjust cylinders or something similar, and then it’s just a matter of setting them up in the DCS
Set the AO of DCS to output in reverse direction
The control valve in Building 2 also requires a positioner; do you have plenty of money? There’s only one solenoid valve on site. Just change the forward and reverse action of the DCS output
The forward and reverse travel mode of this DCS is sufficient
If it is an intelligent locator, the inversion can be done at the locator itself, or in the DCS program configuration
