One type of gauge cannot meet your requirements, and using a stirrer to measure liquid level is really tricky; if the stirring speed is too high, the liquid surface forms vortices – so how can you use that point as a reference? Intermittently, you can only check the liquid level when it stops, but if there is a linkage related to that liquid level, stirring it up can be very dangerous. Another option is to use a level switch to determine the position of the solids after sedimentation, but the issue of mixing still remains. The principle behind level switches is buoyancy and density; once mixing occurs, it becomes impossible to measure these values.
