What level of knowledge is required for a supervisor of instruments in a chemical company? What is the current salary and benefits like?
1. At least five years of experience as an instrument repair technician. 2. Have participated in the construction of engineering projects as a project owner.
Being a supervisor of instruments is a tough job; in addition to professional knowledge, one needs to understand human relationships and be able to communicate effectively both upwards and downwards. One often has to work overtime, and it’s a role that no one wants to take on no matter how much money is offered.
1. Formulate standards, procedures, systems, as well as operating and maintenance regulations related to automated devices and instruments, and ensure their implementation； 2. Develop automation and instrumentation configuration plans; review technical document parameters, revise them after approval, and supervise the implementation of these plans ； 3. Develop annual maintenance, upkeep, and inspection plans for automated equipment and instruments ； 4. Prepare statistical reports related to automation and instrumentation management, so as to keep track of loss rates and failure rates at all times, and to enable early detection and control of risks ； 5. Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and management of equipment instruments and automation systems ；
