In batch reactions, as we know, foam is generally generated during the reaction process. So, are there any instruments that can measure the level of this foam, that is, to determine where the foam is at? Are there any instruments capable of measuring that?

Continuous feeding is used; foam is generated during the reaction, and it is a quite intense reaction. It’s difficult to find a point for control. The rise in the level of the foam is being used to try to regulate the intensity of the reaction. Conditions: atmospheric pressure, 85 degrees Celsius, ethyl acetate, GBL, etc.; a stirrer is available
