I’ve been facing many problems with gauge symbols lately; I hope someone experienced can help me solve them. Illustration on the home page ⚪ The one with a horizontal line in the middle indicates installation in the central control room. Isn’t this TE installed on a pipeline? Then why is it shown as being in the central control room? Am I misunderstanding it?

Too many horizontal lines in the TE diagram.

The dash in TE-101 is clearly a mistake.

Thank you. It seems I understood correctly

PT refers to a pressure transmitter, PI refers to pressure display; it is a DCS. TE means that there should be no horizontal line in the middle; it refers to a temperature measurement element, or in other words, a thermoresistor or thermocouple installed on-site. TI and PI have the same meaning……

I’d like to ask what the underline means
