If the diameter of the process pipeline is below DN50 and the diaphragm pressure transmitter has been ordered in a 2\" size, how can a diaphragm pressure transmitter be installed on a pipe with such a small diameter? Is it possible to use a type with a thermometer installed, that expands the local pipe section to over DN50?
Sure, it is usually referred to as a change in diameter or a reduced/dilated end

If the diameter of the pipe suddenly increases, the pressure in the pipe decreases while the flow rate remains unchanged. An increase in diameter leads to a decrease in pressure, but this has a minimal impact on the pressure in a stable system.
Whether it is pressure tapping at an expanded section or at a reduced section, the entire pipeline is filled with fluid, and the static pressure at the same horizontal level throughout the pipeline is constant. For liquids, they are incompressible. For gases, they are compressible and expandable, but the oscillations in the instantaneous pressure at various points are within the range of the static pressure. Moreover, during normal operation, the gas pressure inside the pipeline does not change abruptly from one value to another; in other words, observable oscillations are virtually none, and the pressure gauge still measures the static pressure. . If you don’t want to change the diameter, add a matching blind flange to it and drill an internal threaded hole; order a flange that also comes with a matching flange featuring external threads, and then simply screw it on
