Is there anyone who can come up with a good solution to this problem? The valve has been insulated now, but it still freezes; over time, this can cause the valve stem to get frozen! !
Is it because the insulation isn’t good enough? Even the ethylene here, which is at a lower temperature than yours, freezes; it can freeze the long neck part but not reach the packing material. Generally, it’s not a big problem – freezing is quite normal.
It’s because the insulation wasn’t done properly. Is it really a good idea to find a manufacturer specialized in insulation for this task? For low-temperature valves, long-necked ones are generally chosen. If the cold leakage is not severe, even if freezing occurs, it will not affect the packing and thus usage remains unaffected.
It’s okay; as long as the right valve is chosen – usually a specialized low-temperature long-neck valve – freezing is a normal phenomenon and generally does not affect its functionality.
The main issue is that if it’s not cleaned in a few days, the valve stem will freeze! ! !

It is recommended to remove the valve, wait until the freezing has melted, and then find someone who specializes in insulation to insulate the valve. Generally, the valve stem won’t get frozen; it’s recommended to replace the packing – could there be some leakage in the packing gland?
Well, I’m going to shut it down first and try replacing the filler; if that doesn’t work, I’ll try using foam glue to see if it helps.
Foam adhesive probably won’t work; such low temperatures will make it brittle, so it’s completely useless
