Question: Valve selection regarding media containing nails

I would like to ask the experts: for valves dealing with media in pipes that contain metal particles, iron slag, and nails, which type of valve is suitable? Apart from knife gate valves, are there any better valve options available besides V-ball valves (the performance of knife gate valves and V-ball valves is not ideal)?

Just installing a filter in front of the valve should do it
A filter should be installed in front! Otherwise, using any valve will not yield satisfactory results, as it will get scratched
