Why isn’t there a 2.0 grade for instrument accuracy?
According to GB/T18283-2008 \"Accuracy Grades for Measuring and Display Instruments Used in Industrial Process Measurement and Control\": 4.1 For instruments whose accuracy-related factors are expressed in terms of reference error or relative error, their accuracy grades shall be selected from the following list: 0.01, 0.02, (0.03), 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, (0.25), (0.3), (0.4), 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, (2.0), 2.5, 4.0, 5.0. Note 1: The accuracy grades in parentheses are not recommended. Note 2: For instruments with a rating below 5.0, their accuracy class can be specified by the standards for various types of instruments.

EN 837-3 Diaphragm and membrane pressure gauges use a precision of 1.6. JJG 573-2003 Diaphragm Pressure Gauges adopt a precision of 1.6. JB/T8624-1997 Diaphragm Pressure Gauges use a precision of 1.5. JB/T5491-2005 Diaphragm Pressure Gauges utilize a precision of 1.6. JJG52-2013 General Pressure Gauges and Pressure-Vacuum Gauges of the Bourdon-tube type adopts a precision of 1.6 (or 1.5). Based on the analysis of the above development history, China will uniformly adopt the European precision level of 1.6, with 1.5 gradually being phased out in favor of 1.6. ANSI B40.1 standard, with a precision of 1.5.
