On the PID flow diagram, some flow meters show both FE and FT, while others only show FT
For example, in the case of a orifice plate + differential pressure transmitter, it is necessary to indicate FE (orifice plate) and FT (differential pressure flow transmitter)； For example, for an inline orifice plate flow transmitter, only FT needs to be indicated. If there is a separate flow sensor, FE should be indicated; if it is an integrated flow transmitter, only FT needs to be indicated.

Brother, this doesn’t necessarily mean simplification. The simultaneous appearance of FE and FT indicates separation. FE can be a throttle device, electromagnetic flowmeter, ultrasonic flowmeter, etc.; only in the case of FT is it integrated.
