I have a question: Since there are various toxic gases present in the area, such as toluene, xylene, cyclohexane, and propanone, is it possible to use only one detector with a PID detection principle for monitoring these toxic gases? If possible, since the PC-STEL values vary for each toxic gas, how is the measurement range determined? Thank you!
The standard does not specify that for substances that are both toxic and flammable, separate detectors for toxic gases and flammable gases should be installed. Based on this reasoning, detectors should be installed separately for various toxic gases

They need to be set separately, and corresponding alarm concentrations also need to be specified. Sometimes alarms are false alarms when they occur on-site, so a portable device is required for verification; it’s not possible to do this with just one device.
