Fisher valve positioner calibration steps – Step 1: Connect the Rosemount 475 handheld communicator. 1. Enter the interface and select HART; After selecting online, press enter ; If there is an alarm signal, select YES and then press Enter ; 2. In the online dropdown menu, select configure, then press Enter ; Select the calibration menu and press Enter ; Select auto calibration ; 3. Select out of service for the warning menu ; After selecting CONTINUE, press Enter to choose travel control ; Automatic valve calibration requires no operation; simply wait until the interface shown in the figure below appears ; 4. Once automatic verification is complete, press the OK key to confirm ; Select OK ; Modified to in service status; inspection completed. Step 2: Instructions for adjusting the feedback of the Fisher locator 1. Select manual setup in the configure menu ; Select mode protection to change in service to OUT OF service ; Select to change the gauge mode ; Select out of service. Return after entering ; A warm reminder: choose OK ; 2. In manual setup, select outputs to set the positioner feedback ; Select output terminal ; Select output terminal ; Select enable and then press enter ; Be sure to choose the \"send\" option and use the settings for feedback after sending. Remember to change the valve back to the in service status. Step 3: The locator calibration button becomes active under the manual setup menu ; Function activation: select “send” to initiate transmission; the junction box then performs self-check via the preset button ; Press the debugging button for 3-10 seconds, and the valve will automatically undergo stroke calibration. The valve will automatically carry out stroke verification. Step 4: Adjustment of sensitivity. If it is observed that the valve controlled by the Fisher valve actuator is oscillating or operates too slowly, this can be improved by adjusting the Tuning Set (which can be simply understood as sensitivity). Click Send to apply the changes. There are options “C D E F G H I J K L M”; valve C responds the slowest, while valve M responds the fastest. The faster the response, the more likely oscillations will occur. Step 5: Setting the Instrument Mode for valve positioner calibration. When performing calibration or making adjustments to the parameters of a valve positioner, it is generally necessary to set the Instrument Mode to Out Of Service (or Not In Service). Once the calibration and adjustments are complete, the mode must be changed back to In Service!
