As title: 1. The alarm settings have been configured in the variables, but it is necessary to output a separate DO signal for the audible and visual alarm. How should this be done? Are there any system variables that can be called to generate it directly? 2. There are several configuration files on the computer, but it’s not clear which one represents the final program. 1. The JX-300 does not have anything that can be output directly. A module for comparing sizes is needed before outputting to DO. 2. Right-click to check the file’s date; generally, the most recent one is the latest. If it is in use, then naturally the one on Drive D is the latest.
According to Description 1, the alarm settings have already been configured in the variables; it is necessary to select a comparison module in the logic configuration, connect one of its input terminals to the actual PV value at the site, connect another input terminal to the set value, and connect the output terminal to the DO. If the calculation is not to be based on the actual value, two custom variables need to be created and then used in the logic configuration. Each of the two input pins is connected to a variable, and the output pin is connected to DO. Two custom variables connected to the screen allow for the modification of settings on the screen. 2. The latest configuration is the one located on Drive D, usually within the DCSDATA folder; you can look there – this folder is created automatically when the software is installed. Or you can upload the configuration from the CPU, which is the latest configuration

You don’t know where the configuration is stored, and neither will anyone else; guess anyway – a normal person would put it under DCSRUN. If you want to add sound and light alarms, you definitely need to use a do statement; for software-based alarms on the computer, it’s sufficient to make the settings in the variables.
