Instantaneous thickness measurement across the entire width of the strip has replaced point-based thickness measurement; the O-type laser thickness gauge is used in online quality inspection and control systems in industries such as plastic films, papermaking, non-woven fabrics, and synthetic leather. The entire laser thickness gauge system mainly consists of an O-shaped scanning frame, an operator station, an APC control system, a thickness gauge bracket, and a chiller. The main components of the scanning frame include a thickness sensor, the scanning frame body, a PLC, guide rails, and sliders. The scanning frame serves as the carrier for the thickness sensor, ensuring that the sensor can scan back and forth over the object being measured in a smooth and precise manner. The PLC collects and processes the thickness signals from the thickness sensors, and sends them to the operator station. Equipment operation steps: 1. Power-on and measurement procedures 1) Power-on sequence: Power switch on the back panel of the control cabinet → \"Start\" button on the front panel → Industrial computer → Cold water chiller being powered on → \"Power supply\" knob for the O-shaped scanner → \"Start\" button for the O-shaped scanner. 2) Open the measurement software by double-clicking the shortcut icon on the industrial PC desktop to launch it. 3) Set or select product parameters: Choose or add product models and parameters based on the product specifications. 4) Thickness sensor parameter configuration: Configure the sensor parameters according to the on-site environmental conditions. 5) Measurement: Click “Start Measurement”, and the system enters measurement mode. 6) Close the measurement software: After all products have been measured, click “Stop Measurement” to exit the measurement mode. Click the “Exit” button or the “×” button in the upper right corner of the program interface to exit the measurement software. 7) Shut down: Safely shut down the computer within the operating system → Turn off the power supply to the scanner gantry → Turn off the chiller → Press the \"Stop Operation\" button on the control cabinet panel → Turn off the main power switch on the back panel of the control cabinet. 2. On-site operation of the O-type scanner: The O-type scanner is equipped with six operation buttons, namely “Start,” “Exit,” “Power Supply,” “Emergency Stop,” as well as two up and down arrows. Among them, rotating the “Power Supply” knob to the on position supplies power to the entire O-type scanner frame ; Press the \"Emergency Stop\" button to shut down the entire device ; Press the “Start” button to power on the thickness sensor ; Press the “Exit” button to shut down the thickness sensor ; Press the up arrow to move the thickness sensor to the left ; Pressing the downward arrow moves the thickness sensor to the right. By operating the sensor movement button on-site, measurements at fixed positions can be taken. The O-type laser thickness gauge is simple to operate, easy to use, and straightforward to get started with. The above are the instructions for using this device; I hope they are helpful to you. The specific operating procedures will also be detailed in the instruction manual.
