A pneumatic butterfly valve consists of a pneumatic actuator and a butterfly valve. Pneumatic butterfly valves are primarily opened and closed by rotating the butterfly disc along the valve stem. This type of valve is mainly used as a stop valve. Of course, it can also be operated for regulation and proportional control, but its significant difference from quickly installable butterfly valves is that it lacks similar manual operation functions; pneumatic butterfly valves can be shut off at any time, and they offer proportional control capabilities as well as emergency shutdown functions. The main control methods for pneumatic butterfly valves include hydraulic, electric, worm gear, and electro-hydraulic control; they are commonly used in industries such as construction, food processing, pharmaceuticals, heating, chemicals, petroleum, and power generation. With pneumatic butterfly valves, and during their long-term use, leakage can occur between the sealing surfaces: 1. There is debris between the sealing surfaces ; 2.
