Everyone, may I ask what the principle behind a valve positioner is? What is the magnetic strip at the top used for? Are there any more vivid pictures or videos to help explain this...
The function of a valve positioner is to convert the control signal output by the regulator (usually an electrical signal) into a pneumatic signal that controls the valve, thereby enabling it to move. The displacement of the valve is fed back to the positioner via a feedback rod, which helps to achieve precise positioning. Magnetic strip? ? ? The regulator is not the same as the actuator on control valves; the regulator functions like the brain of a system, serving as the control unit. Regulators come in pneumatic and electric types, with electric regulators being the most commonly used. The signal output by them is usually in the range of 4–20 mA. The actuator on the control valve carries out its function after receiving signals from the regulator.
