The positioner was working normally before, but it suddenly stopped functioning. The issue is that it doesn’t respond to signals; it can be switched to full open or full closed manually. There are no problems with the air supply or the signals, and the pilot valve is also fine. I’d like to know what’s causing this problem
First, try moving the nozzle baffle manually to see if it moves; giving a signal manually on-site will let you know
The nozzle baffle moves, but no signal is generated locally; no action is taken
Check the electromagnetic coil section to see if there are any changes in the signal and current. If the manual damper functions properly, it indicates that there are no issues with the valve or the gas supply system
Has the locator been subjected to a self-check or manual calibration? Try again after the calibration is complete; if it still doesn’t work, it’s possible that the circuit board of the locator is damaged.
