Hello everyone, I’m a beginner and need help with a question regarding level gauges: The tank is horizontal, 4 meters long with an internal diameter of 1.1 meters; it’s made of RPP material. The substance stored in the tank is sodium hypochlorite, which is volatile and corrosive. The tank is located on the rooftop platform of a building, and it’s necessary to install a level gauge. Initially, I’m thinking of using a non-contact type of gauge, with a separate display unit placed on the first floor. The requirement is that, during the process of pumping materials, the worker on the 1st floor should shut down the pump and stop the material transfer once the liquid level indicated on the display reaches a certain value. I’m asking for everyone’s help in recommending a suitable level gauge. Thank you! ! !
Our factory produces various level measurement instruments such as radar level gauges and ultrasonic level gauges; we can send you some relevant materials. My WeChat ID is 15890954071
The guided wave radar level gauge can be used to measure the liquid level; a secondary display unit is installed on the first floor, allowing operators there to see the real-time level and thus shut down the pump. Contact me at 15312341309
Wouldn’t it be great to install a magnetic flip switch along with a secondary meter?
Adding a remote transmission for the on-site liquid level is a very simple task
Personally, I think it would be good to add a fluorinated magnetic flip switch along with a reed switch, and there are also price advantages to that.
Top-mounted magnetic flap level gauge, with remote control, in inches of fluorine.
There are many methods; it depends on how much budget you have.
Method 1: Split-type radar level gauge; A DN80 opening needs to be made in the tank ; Method 2: Differential pressure level gauge, which requires two DN80 openings to be made on the upper and lower sides of the tank ; Choose a 5m long capillary, with the gauge lead taken to the first floor ; Method 3: Magnetic flap level gauge with remote transmitter ; Opening and Method 2 ; Method 4: Top-mounted magnetic flap with remote transmission secondary meter ; Opening, same as Method 1 ; The above investment costs are listed from highest to lowest.
There are also external-type level gauges that offer complete zero contact, but they have certain disadvantages.
