Requirements for connecting the alarm device

Quantitative loading of hazardous chemicals is now being implemented. According to the requirements for such loading systems, alarms are required to be installed in order to enable interlock functions. Does it then mean that the alarms on these loading stations also need to be connected to the GDS system? If it’s integrated, isn’t that just an addition for the sake of standardization? I hope the experts here can help answer it
The GDS controller sends the corresponding interlock signal to the quantitative loading system, or first to the DCS, which then sends a signal to the quantitative loading system
