1. The connection fitting (nozzle) of the level measurement instrument should be positioned away from areas where the fluid flowing into the equipment may cause impacts. 2. The viewing surface of the instrument should face the operation area, and there should be no objects around that could hinder the maintenance of the instrument. Level measurement instruments should be installed at one end of the platform, or the platform should be widened. 3. If the instrument connection fitting (nozzle) of the level measurement instrument is located at the bottom of the equipment, it should extend 100 mm into the equipment. 4. When measuring the liquid level, the upper connection fitting (nozzle) of the level measurement instrument must be located within the liquid phase layer. 5. When several level gauges are used together, a connected-tube installation type is recommended.
