How does a distributed gas alarm controller determine whether each gas sensor probe detects flammable gases or toxic gases?
It is defined through configuration whether this substance is toxic or flammable, whether it is CO or CH4 or something else – all of these are predetermined
You just have to define it manually; I thought the gas alarm unit could recognize it on its own
It involves defining the probe information for each channel in advance (configuration). The configuration generally includes the upper and lower limits of the range, the high and very high alarm values, the medium being monitored, and the unit of measurement (%LEL, ppm, etc.)
