There is a very thin pipe fitting with threads on the outside; what type of threads are they? The major diameter of the thread is approximately 11 mm. A gauge with a 55-degree pitch fits perfectly with a template sized 20. Is this a pipe thread? Is it a metric thread or an imperial thread, and what is its size? The lookup in the table doesn’t match either
For American fine-thread threads, compare it with 7/16 20 teeth.
This post was last edited by jmdc on 2022-9-11 at 14:37. Is it possible that it’s a metric thread of M11×1.25? Why do they have to choose such a weird specification? Can British imperial pipe thread G3/8 be used as a substitute?
